Frederico BAF                        SOLD
Frederico BAF 4-11-02 half Lusitano gelding (Java Jive x Quarteto do Top). Rico is a gorgeous 16 hand black half Lusitano gelding who has never been listed on this website as a sale horse because I thought I'd never be able to part with him and never intended to sell him. He is out of the first mare I ever bred and is the 3rd generation offspring that began with Shadow, my first horse. As Rico grew and developed into an exceptional dressage prospect it became obvious to me that he would be much too big for me both in size and talent. I knew Rico deserved a talented, dedicated rider that would take him as far as he could go in the dressage arena. Jodi Gear turned out to be the right person for Rico and has been working with him for the past year in long lines and under saddle. At their first schooling show they scored 65% at Intro and took home the blue ribbon and high point. On May 13, 2006 Jodi made Rico officially hers and I congratulate her and wish her the greatest of happiness and success. I am pleased that Rico will be boarded at my farm so I can still look out to the pasture and see my three generations of black horses with white stars!

Raposa HM                     SOLD
